THE PUZZLE THAT IS THE WORLD

Imagem
Let’s go to the weekly summary: nothing. Nothing seems to solve some of the issues we face, and we want quick solutions for complex problems. In the end, all you need to know is that complex numbers fit complex problems. And with that, resolution becomes possible. Mathematics teaches us that problems are solvable, and what I see missing in us is engagement in a single vision, a shared purpose. Interests are still not aligned in many aspects of the organic life of the social fabric we call Society. Meanwhile, in Eurasia, negotiations for Peace continue. The U.S. announces at least a week-long ceasefire, which would be “extraordinary” given the climate and conditions. Ukraine claims it has not been formally notified. What? That is absurd—any path toward non-violence is the right path, and responding that it was not notified was a lost opportunity to say YES to ending the War. As stated by the U.S. in relation to Russia, Ukraine wastes clear opportunities to improve the situation. There...

SARDINES, YES! SHARK, NO!

Imagem
In recent days, I’ve been reflecting on how everyone suddenly became a “specialist” in Geopolitics. The issues most present across the globe are the geopolitical situations of all nations. And then comes the debate, with everyone discussing whether a certain authority acted or failed to act. Time, undoubtedly running out for all of us, is also responsible for the choices we make in the present. For these reasons, let us talk here about Multilateralism. Multilateralism is the practice of coordinating diplomatic policies among multiple States. The proposal is sound, and the game is almost won, but there are observations to be made. Its opposite is unilateralism. Inevitably, unilateralism is a setback within a global system of negotiations. That is why it is necessary to avoid decisions that are not collective, especially in the international sphere. The matter is simple: the radical possibility of unilateralism—no matter which country pursues it—harms the flow of business. We have evol...

SOCIAL INEQUALITY: CURRENT AND FUTURE TIMES

Imagem
Today’s topic on our Blog is Social and Economic Inequality. When speaking of inequality, one must understand that the notion of disparity and contrasts is of utmost importance in identifying what is unequal. That said, Social Inequality is one of the greatest challenges in the world. In 2025, Brazil reported that the richest 10% concentrated about 59% of the national income, while the poorest 50% held only 10%. On a global scale, 1% of the population controls more than 45% of the world’s wealth. Global statistics indicate that 700 million people live below the poverty line—less than $2.15 per day. This severely impacts education. In low-income countries, only 25% of girls complete high school. In the health sector, in poorer regions, life expectancy can be up to 20 years shorter than in wealthy countries. At these levels, social violence tends to increase, coupled with economic crises. Sustainable growth becomes unlikely, as a large portion of the population cannot consume. Furtherm...

LOCALIZED CESSATION SIGNED: WHAT'S NEXT?

Imagem
Yesterday – January 16 – a localized ceasefire was signed between Ukraine and Russia to allow repairs on the Zaporizhzhya power lines. With this, what can we expect from negotiations aimed at expanding peace missions that need to be established in the conflict region? The answer: the demarcation of the new Donbass border, recognized by all of us as a region belonging to Russia. With that, a new delineation must and needs to be carried out by the UN Peacemakers. The Blue Helmets enter into the determination of the border, knowing that Ukraine has lost one-fifth of its territory, and now finds itself within a new general dividing line, one that is recognized worldwide. This is what happens first, because if there is no territorial concession, the deadlock will never end, tending toward escalation—something we truly do not want, since if that happens, everyone loses. Relations on the Planet are felt in a general, holistic way that impacts everything and everyone. This is reflected in th...

THE COMPLEMENTARY REGIME OF THE MILLENNIUM

Imagem
You may ask yourself: Are these days dark? And the answer will always depend on whom you ask—because we live in society. Today’s theme is Society in a general sense. In our current era, a large number of States operate under democratic systems. Democracy, therefore, is the central pillar of many United Nations member states. However, democracy alone is not enough, as it contains gaps and flaws. As a complement, I advocate for the Regime of the Millennium, which, as stated, is supplementary to Democracy. The structure of this complementary regime consists of blocs within each UN member state, focused on International Affairs. This means that Democracy cannot be abandoned, but rather must be enhanced. For this reason, the Complementary Regime of the Millennium is a clear trend for deepening dialogue within the Society of Progress. When we speak of the Complementary Regime, we refer to local bases in each capital city, with representatives from different sectors of society on a planetary...

PLANETARY EDUCATIONAL MATRIX

Imagem
The Planetary Educational Matrix urgently needs to be built. We are long past the time to evolve educational values on a global scale. At the structural pillar of this proposal lies the Dignity of the Human Person. Life cannot be lived merely for survival; dignity must be present in the very way we continue to breathe. In this climate of progress, many still have nothing to eat and die of hunger. Yes! We live on a planet of contrasts. While hunger kills thousands of people, we witness scenes driven by rivalries of interest. Interests, as the primary parameter of the Millennium, must be aligned with the notion of Collectivity. We are, however, encountering barriers in the Construction of Collectivity. No! You are not different from the other who also seeks survival. You and the other share the same intention: to survive peacefully in danger zones—zones which, indeed, must cease to be considered as such. Furthermore, we must return to organized multilateral relations, understanding that...

RUSSIA, UKRAINE AND THE REST OF THE PLANET: SERIOUS CONSIDERATIONS

Imagem
Yes. We are negotiating, and the negotiations are going as well as possible. In current times, it is clear that the course of the talks is the best it can be, and we are still upholding our global society as the Society of Progress. These words become even clearer after Russia signaled possible support for the integration of UN Peacekeeping Forces along the Donbass border. This is because, with complete clarity, the new frontier has been redrawn due to territorial occupation. Ukraine, in turn, will possibly cede Donbass, because there is no longer any logic to consider, as the Russian occupation cannot realistically be dismantled. However, the rest of the country—Ukraine—deserves protection against new Russian offensives, which we consider impossible if this third ceasefire agreement is truly signed. The UN should have intervened in the conflict from the beginning, but I admit it would have been difficult to analyze (I mean, from the start) for all of us. Certainly, and there is no r...

HANDLING COPILOT: A FUTURISTIC REPORT FOR THE PRESENT.

Imagem
Command given to Copilot: Dissertation on the futuristic scenario of the region with the UN involved in the border line between Russia, containing the Donbass on the Russian side and the UN ensuring the security of Ukraine for reconstruction of a scenario more aligned with the present, knowing that it is a Blog post that will be formed, the text is directed like this,  and you write and create your dissertation that will be posted on our Blog. ANSWER: The Future of the Borderline: The UN in Donbass and the Reconstruction of Ukraine The war between Russia and Ukraine has been one of the greatest geopolitical challenges of the 21st century. However, envisioning a futuristic scenario in which the United Nations (UN) takes on a central role along the borderline between the two countries opens space for reflections on peace, reconstruction, and regional stability. 🌍 The UN as Guardian of the Border In the projected framework, Donbass would remain under Russian control , whi...

DAYS PASS.

Imagem
An ideal dose of caffeine is always ideal for all of us, except for those who don’t drink coffee and prefer tea. That’s how I begin today, that’s how the band plays almost every day. I am optimistic, and I believe that checking our possible missteps should be our highest priority, I insist, for any decision in life. It is always difficult to choose between options, but with what has been happening—especially in the relations between the United States of America, Venezuela, and Colombia—it is a clear demonstration of what is, in fact, our much-discussed here, Crisis of Disinformation. If you follow this Blog, you know that we have pointed out the Crisis of Disinformation many times, which boils down to the expansion of the fabric of Fake News. And scams are out there. Frauds are everywhere. In the world today, we have literally lost our control and begun to remember that, of all things, we know nothing. There is a world of knowledge that has no comprehensible dimensions, and it is enti...

PEACE NEGOTIATIONS: RUSSIA AND UKRAINE.

Imagem
The world is negotiating. Communication is at a level higher than ever before. And yes! We are meeting ourselves. These days, reflection on who we are and how we should act is at its peak. Even with scarce resources due to the planet’s enormous population, we are, as I always say here on our blog, engaging in dialogue. Conversations are becoming increasingly concentrated, which does not truly represent the certainty and trust necessary for business, but it is a good path given all the possibilities we have at hand. The art of dialogue is knowing when to accept another’s opinion—that sums up what dialogue truly is. Otherwise, the most that can happen is two people, at the very least, delivering monologues at the same time. We need to find a middle ground in our needs so that we can move forward together in negotiations, which are the foundations of the Society of Progress. Today I woke up optimistic! I always wake up optimistic when I drink a good amount of coffee at the start of my wo...

THE TRAGEDY OF INFORMATIONAL MALNUTRITION

Imagem
The worst monster of the millennium: the Disinformation Crisis. The one who writes to you here, being optimistic, chooses to bet all the chips on the statement that the worst crisis of the millennium is the Disinformation Crisis. Technological advances, very soon, will mean nothing when compared to the economic breakdowns caused by Disinformation—a crisis that is already among us and is gravely tending to become permanently established by 2030. We are in the year 2026, and until then, there is still a long road ahead and much will happen. Chief among these will be the waste of resources, a grave alarm that will affect everyone and will not discriminate by social class, causing holistic damage with a clear outcome: regression. The society of progress that took us so long to build, and which showed great potential for growth, will face a new threat with the arrival of 6G connectivity, which will soon be upon us: economic illiteracy. Many malicious individuals will take advantage of this...

ENGLISH: A SOLUTION?

Imagem
In the last post, I addressed the crises of the next five years. Well then. There are tools at our disposal to pursue more concrete stability, and among them, the most powerful is dialogue. Negotiations in these times tend to increase. To give you an idea, about three‑quarters of the Planet is currently moving toward more promising negotiations aimed at resolving these possible crises over the next five years. Yes, we are talking, but in which direction should we take these conversations so that we do not face severe impacts on the Global stage? That is what I deal with in this post. By deeply analyzing the issues highlighted in the previous post, I firmly believe that we all must—and need to—learn a single language; and at this point, English stands out. We need to speak the same language in every sense, so that communication becomes more fluid, with greater flow and therefore greater consistency. When we look closely in every direction, we must recognize the obvious: English is the ...

ALERT: HOW TO OVERCOME THE POSSIBLE CRISES OF THE NEXT FIVE YEARS.

Imagem
The way to start a good day? Always with a good Coffee. Of course, whether you drink Coffee or your favorite beverage—mine is Coffee. Last week we addressed the theme of Planetary Education, and the latest post on our Blog was about Gender Inequality Indicators. That was a quick summary of the whole situation. In today’s post, when I went to choose the theme, there was no doubt: I thought it best to deal with a substantial issue for all of us—possible crises up to 2030, starting from 2025. In five years, we may face several types of crises, sustained by strong indicators. Among them, for example, are Armed Conflicts, the Global Economy, Climate and the Environment, Disinformation, and Social Megatrends. To give you an idea of the numbers, about 25% of experts point to an immediate increase in the risk of Conflicts, with a tendency to grow until 2030, due to geopolitical instability, forced migrations, and high military spending. Regarding the Global Economy, forecasts suggest a trend...

SWIMMING AGAINST THE TSUNAMI: THE STRENGTH WE NEED TO HAVE!

Imagem
How can we make something work with so many barriers? The answer: the United Nations. This week’s theme, Planetary Education , comes with a cry for attention! Inequality continues to undermine our prospects of advancing toward an improvement in the Global Human Condition. Differences have always existed, but we now live in new times of connectivity, and with this, the Millennium Parameter is reinforced: Interest = Collectivity . Collective interest is something that opens doors within the framework of Humanitarian Capitalism. Differences do exist, but it is equally true that we can shape our future. One of the main elements we must pay attention to is equality between men and women in all aspects of life. Gender difference is merely organic, for in reality we are all Human Beings—Women and Men—moving toward a destiny shaped by a wide range of factors, especially cultural ones. To be more precise with numbers, in 2025 we reached about 68.5% gender parity , which means there is still s...

OUR FAILURE IN PLANETARY EDUCATION: DO WE HAVE TIME?

Imagem
New Year, new life? It seems so. Everyone is celebrating the turn of the year, and I firmly believe that in 2026 we will see significant progress, especially regarding issues of Health and Education. This post speaks specifically about Education. There is no longer room for divisions between countries when it comes to an Educational model that is not Planetary. The UN, as the body responsible for Assemblies, must discuss an Educational model that encompasses the entire situation of the Planet, transcending cultural barriers, since by doing so we will avoid many crises in the future. Planetary Education is a pedagogical proposal aimed at forming citizens who are aware of the interdependence between Human Beings and Nature, thereby promoting values of sustainability, sociability, and collective responsibility on Earth. The origin of this approach is inspired by the ecopedagogy of Francisco Gutiérrez and Cruz Prado, who advocate learning in the sense of “things from everyday life.” The ...
