These are passages from a Book. The title makes an analogy to the word NOTEBOOK, which many of us use in our daily tasks. Moreover, this Book proposes to address the issue of Social Democracy. This is because we are living through a period of transformation in our conceptions and ideas about what should be considered a Social Democracy. Democracy, which is a system of government adopted in many countries, is summarized in the idea that it is government with power in the hands of all. Thus, it is necessary to reflect on Representativeness. Representativeness is defined by the notion that a representative can speak beyond their own ideas, speaking for more people, demonstrating the collective rather than the singular. Therefore, to understand that one person speaks for an entire nation is not generally feasible when one encounters the flaws of representativeness. In any case, there is Administration. Nowadays are unstable, and this reminds us that the stability of the world is something we must build day by day, in our everyday lives. Many times we feel disappointed with the world as it is, but in certain moments—small moments—the opportunity to be grateful for existence, for being alive here, is an opportunity that must be embraced. In any case, my intuition tells me that we are improving. For this reason, at this moment, I am optimistic. The values emerging from the depths and being debated in many regions concern how to make Social Democracy a reality. At this point, Social Democracy seems to be a good means to serve as a counterbalance to the bare Democracies that dominated the form of Government in many States not too long ago—just a few years back. Social Democracy is conceived as a middle-ground Democracy, where collective interest plays a central role in various relations. In the last post I promised to return with a very important topic: World Hunger. We, as human beings, need to pay attention to this very delicate issue. The redistribution of resources needs and must occur equitably under the leadership of the United Nations. In other words, the UN should be held accountable so it can address the issue of hunger with greater determination, and we all need to be aware of this — which is why this post is being written now. Moreover, we all know that this space is not merely for complaining; it is a space to publicize and draw attention to problems on the planet in a general way. With that in mind, it is necessary for us to adopt a more global mindset about these situations, and above all — and most importantly — to convey genuine trust in international organizations. In life, there is no way to avoid disappointments, and this applies to every aspect of daily life. Many times we create expectations and they are not met, and as a result we end up in a situation of improvisation. Improvising is very relevant in our lives because, of all the plans we make, few succeed and reach a satisfactory conclusion. Today's topic, without reservations, is the Society of Disappointment. Wanting is possible, but it is not absolute. Even while learning to live with disappointments, I still feel the hurt in my fingers as I write these words. It is not without reason. Behind disappointments there are many roots of hope for achieving a goal, and when that does not happen — that is, when we do not reach our objectives — the body becomes vulnerable.
