In the last post I promised to return with a very important topic: World Hunger. We, as human beings, need to pay attention to this very delicate issue. The redistribution of resources needs and must occur equitably under the leadership of the United Nations. In other words, the UN should be held accountable so it can address the issue of hunger with greater determination, and we all need to be aware of this — which is why this post is being written now. Moreover, we all know that this space is not merely for complaining; it is a space to publicize and draw attention to problems on the planet in a general way.
With that in mind, it is necessary for us to adopt a more global mindset about these situations, and above all — and most importantly — to convey genuine trust in international organizations. I suggest we establish a program to review our positions on this matter. Until now, in the past, the UN did not have as much relevance as it does today, and we should inform ourselves from reliable sources about how the United Nations is handling this issue. Humanitarian aid is necessary and indispensable, but we cannot depend on donations forever, and this is the stance the UN has been taking in various actions — which is still far from achieving sustainable development.
This is a call for all Member States of the Organization to review income-redistribution policies so they do not merely “live” off the donations of charitable people. Donations are not dispensable; on the contrary, they are a basic existential minimum that supports the image we have of ourselves, reflected through the UN. That said, without leaving any doubt, new international policies must emerge to rescue situations like this (World Hunger). Innovation packages must be developed. It is necessary to create innovations and alternatives that do not rely on the process of donating sums of money. Proportional reserves and contributions from Member States for programs of proportional equality need to arise in the heated debates held in the Assemblies of this International Organization. New ideas for a new world, where human reproduction is managed through prevention and hungry, malnourished people gain greater access to available resources.
Therefore, the most logical step to establish now is the pooling of resources for future distribution through a Global Satisfaction Program — a better scenario that would produce many positive effects in everyone’s lives, since the market is entirely dependent on political and geopolitical actions. With the full adherence of Member States by majority, a monetary fund must be created with contributions from each member in proportion; this, without doubt, is the way to stabilize the market and the world (both have been showing shortfalls in the chain of responsibility for governance). The issue is resolved when everyone (the majority) accepts the Global Sustainability protocol through a Resolution that begins to collect funds from States rather than from individuals.
Finally, it makes no sense for current programs to be asking ordinary people for money in a situation like the one we are experiencing, with high and drastic prices. The problem goes back to a machine of massacre, and therefore the Social Stabilization Contribution is the only way to avoid the collapse we are witnessing before our very eyes while we are handcuffed, without choices. A machine that grinds people is in front of us and we must destroy it, and that destruction happens through the strength of all of us together, united and believing in our power to mobilize efforts so that people no longer die silently at night on sidewalks — people in ruin, the poor, those without shelter. And that is only one example. Therefore, the Social Stabilization Contribution must be instituted by us to open a first moment of opportunity — a moment when we will be ready to take advantage of it and improve our home, Earth. In closing, I reiterate: we must act right now, and the beginning of this action is the institution of these Social Stabilization Contributions so that the UN becomes responsible for collecting these monetary resources and carrying out income redistribution to all nations of the globe.
