Little by little

In these slow days, one often finds it necessary to ponder exactness. Exactness remains something to be sought after and, consequently, pursued. Not everything in the Cosmic Universe is relational, is it? It depends on the perspective through which it’s seen. The Universe is far more than we comprehend, and existences are far greater than the conventions of a situation that rends us apart—not with horror, but with desire, which is nothing more than the will to live.

It isn’t true that every form of anguish is a feeling that annihilates the whole. Anguish is, in itself, a desire to run and to nourish oneself. That’s why today we must consider the path we choose for each fundamental element. For every element in the world, there exists a counterpoint, and for every equality, an inequality. Many truths remain unaccepted and unexpected, people rushing here and there without a thought for the future. Life is a bit of this: cruelty mixed with kindness—fifty-fifty—where each person does their part and everyone benefits.

These days it seems like everyone wants a bullet to the forehead, but the truth is they only want to be loved within a body that embraces them warmly—without complaints or half-truths etched onto our faces. Isn’t the monster’s face the same as the author’s? And by that token, isn’t it possible to understand that everything that once departs eventually returns? It is indeed true that we all stand beneath a sacred cloak of chastity, yet remain wrapped in our own opinions and desires…

Progress? Who speaks of progress? We still have so much ground to cover in this life as human beings, and we need to advance in every realm along this timeline. We clearly know what happens: we are pierced by challenges that everyone thinks they feel, but in truth, we may be nothing more than puppets of a system—whether vast or minute, we cannot gauge its size—but even so, we must press on.

This is the anguish of living.
